Devan Manning (he/him/his) is a neurodivergent theatre artist, educator, and director dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where all performers and audiences feel celebrated. As a Program Associate at ActionPlay, Devan supports the Voices Choir and AIMS (ActionPlay Inclusive Musical Series) programs, helping neurodivergent artists develop confidence, connection, and creative expression through music and theatre.

Devan’s work bridges the worlds of theatre, education, and advocacy, centering accessibility and belonging in every rehearsal and performance. In addition to their work with ActionPlay, Devan serves as a Teaching Artist and Mentor with EPIC Players, guiding actors in voice, movement, and devised performance. He has have also taught across New York City, designing multi-sensory, drama-based learning experiences for diverse learners.

Devan earned their Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Dean College and a Master’s in Educational Theatre from New York University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Childhood General and Special Education at Bank Street College of Education, continuing their mission to make theatre and learning accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all.
