Jackson Tucker-Meyer (he/they) is a fabulously autistic playwright and filmmaker. Jackson’s play The Perfection of the Donut was produced at the Tank in 2024. Jackson’s film Satan Cured My Autism won Best Mockumentary at the Museum of the Moving Image’s 2022 Marvels of Media Awards. Jackson’s play Banana Guy and Banana Girl with Banana Dreamz in a Krazy World was part of Roundabout Theatre Company’s inaugural Reverb Theatre Arts Festival in 2021. As a lyricist, Jackson is a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop Advanced Cohort.
Jackson is Co-Director of t.h.i.n.k. at the Tank, a program that assists emerging neurodivergent/disabled artists in navigating access to the Tank theater. Jackson is on the Steering Committee for the Marvels of Media Festival at the Museum of the Moving Image. As an accessibility consultant, Jackson has advised on disability inclusivity practices for the Public Theater, Theatre for a New Audience, New Victory Theater, and New York City Children's Theater. Jackson was the keynote speaker for Arts for Autism 2023.
