Kimberly Hale grew up in Iowa and currently lives and works in New York City as a Teaching Artist, Actor, Director/Choreographer, and ASL-English interpreter. She has been a Teaching Artist and Choreographer with Actionplay for the past seven years, choreographing their original musicals Dimensions and Dragons, Total Bummer Summer, OMG It’s Magic School, The Surface, A Questionable Case, and Welcome to My World. She is one of the founders and producers of Deaf Broadway. Kimberly currently serves as the Artistic Director of the NYC DOE All IN(clusive) All-City High School Theatre Ensemble. Her other teaching residencies include work with Lexington School for the Deaf, NexGen Youth Theatre, and Ocean Beach Youth Group.
